Dear Italian Textbook:

Please do not tell me that the preposition "in" is for larger geographical areas, like countries, states and regions, and that "a" for smaller ones, like cities, and then go and stick "in" in front of a BANK. But that's no excuse for having everyone go "Hoshit!" at a METAL BRACER/ARM GUARD WHATHAVEYOU. Seriously, I THINK THEY HAD THOSE in the late 1400's. I'll buy that Ezio's is a better quality, and maybe even that it's hidden from sight, causing perhaps a small hesitation when there's more resistance to a blow than originally expected.

But not a "WHAT DEMON PROTECTS YOU?! *hacks at arm som'more*"

Seriously.

And don't even get me STARTED on Ezio STILL pining after Christina TEN YEARS LATER. Did they just give you the basic plot outline and tell you to do what you want? With no thought for the characters?

Not the best place for them, admittedly, but I didn't have space in the cupboard and figured I'd put it away once I got around to cleaning them out.

My roommate goes on a tidying spree last week. The rice vanishes from the counter. I assume she'd put it away somewhere.

Today, I go to make curry, and I cannot find it anywhere.

She threw it away.

Now, I do not understand the process that must have been going on in her head for her to think half a bag of rice is garbage. I don't think it's my pack rat tendencies talking when I go "What the hell, woman?!"

Still, she let me use her rice instead, so I can't really complain too much. I'm all "I could've sworn I bought the first one... but maybe I did get the second one. Ah, well."

Now that I finally get around to digging out the case/receipt, I'm just like "Ah, crap."

I'm going to call them - I really don't mind which one I get, I'm good either way - but still, that'll be... awkward.
